Argentina Crushed Great Britain With 5-1 in First Match of 5-Matches Series in Salta, Argentina

Jersey's Beckie Herbert scored the only goal for Great Britain in their 5-1 defeat by Argentina in the first of their five-match Test series in Salta.

The Leicester player, 23, netted her second GB goal in the 68th minute, with the hosts already 5-0 up.

Great Britain head coach Danny Kerry said: "I'm disappointed that we reverted to type in the second half when we began to get tired.

"That's when our bad habits came back and they hurt us."

The sides meet again in the second Test on Sunday evening, with the final game on Friday.
