SALTA, Argentina: Pakistan captain Zeehsan Ashraf is confident of his team’s success against India in the semifinals of Champions Challenge Cup hockey tournament which will be played here on Saturday (today).
“We need a good performance from the team to move to the final and beating India would be a double delight,” he said here on Friday.
Zeeshan is anticipating a very tough match, saying that playing against India in any tournament creates a huge hype.
“Playing India is never easy because people back home expect a win all the time. I think it is not a fair though because a team cannot win each time. I can say, however, with full confidence that we will go all out to beat India by giving our best. Victory is the only solution to reach the final,” he said.
A seasoned defender, Zeeshan said that he wanted everyone in his team to fight till the last second and stick to the match-plan.
