The New Zealand Under-19 cricket team has cruised to an opening World Cup win over Canada in Christchurch.
The New Zealand captain Craig Cachopa (car-chopper) won the toss and decided to field first and they dismissed Canada for 128 in the 30th over with Doug Bracewell and Logan ven Beek taking 3 wickets each.
Chasing Canada's meagre total of 128 all out, New Zealand reached the target in just the 20th over for the loss of one wicket.
James Neesham top-scored with 47, while Doug Bracewell and Logan van Beek each took three wickets.
