Australia v England (6th ODI) Updates: In 10 Overs Australia Responded Positively by Scoring 78

Sydney, Australia – (6th ODI, SGC) In the chase of a huge target of 334 Australian came to the pitch with positive frame of mind and raced to the total of 78 in first 10 overs of mandatory powerplay with a run rate of 7.8 per over.

Australia got a flying start with Shane WatsonShane Watson and Brad HaddinBrad Haddin and cruised towards the target with the 8.88 runs per over up to eight overs before falling of Brad Haddin (20). Shane Watson is batting on 49 And Callum Ferguson, joined him after Haddin, is just batting on 4 runs. James Anderson claimed the alone wicket of Brad Haddin.

England tested a new tactics to stop the Aussies runs race by introducing spin attack within power-play. Michael Yardy bowled 9th over of innings gave away 6 runs.

Earlier, England set a huge target for Aussies with 334 runs. Australia has to react very strong to get there with average of 6.60 runs per over. Jonathan Trott’s batting was the highlight of the innings with his brilliant 137 runs off 126 balls.

Brett Lee, Mitchell Johnson, Shane Watson and Steve Smith claimed one wicket each; while Shaun Tait picked up two wickets including last ball wicket of centurion Trott.
