Cricket World Cup fever in very much on in sub-continent and the opening match set to start today just few hours away now; between India and Bangladesh at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. The final is scheduled at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai (Bombay).
Fourteen teams are divided into two groups. There would be total of 49 matches out of which 42 will be played in Group stages. The current edition of the mega event is being considered the most wide-open tournament and anyone of the top-six teams can lift the title with a marginal edge that is being given to India.
Every team vows to give their best in the tournament including Netherlands, Ireland, Kenya and Canada; therefore every match of the World Cup will be a treat to watch. But I’ve selected only top-six matches which can be termed as “Clash of the Titans”.
