Moldova and Luxembourg Played Out a Goal-less Draw

Moldova and Luxembourg played out a goalless draw in a game between teams trying to avoid finishing bottom of their 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ qualifying section.

The result left the Moldovans, who moved on to two points from seven matches, rooted to the foot of Group 2 in the European Zone. Luxembourg now have five points from an equal number of outings.

The sides' first meeting in the South Africa 2010 preliminaries also finished 0-0.

Luxembourg will travel to Israel on Wednesday. Moldova, meantime, will host Greece.
