
Mahesh Bhupathi and his partner Mark Knowles of the Bahamas outwitted Croatian Ivan Ljubicic and Frenchman Michael Llodra in the men's double quarter-finals in US Open on Tuesday.
Bhupathi and Knowles beat Ljubicic and Llodra 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 in the quarter-finals at the Flushing Meadows to book their berth in the semi-final.
The pair have now joined Leander Paes and his Czech partner Lukas Dloughy, who moved into the semi-final of the men's doubles earlier on Tuesday.
Paes and Dloughy, seeded fourth, beat seventh seeded Wesley Moodie of Russia and Dick Norman of Belgium 6-3, 5-7, 6-4.
Paes and Cara Black of Zimbabwe earlier secured a berth in the semi-finals of the mixed doubles category defeating Australian-Swede combination of Rennae Stubbs and Robert Lindstedt 7-5, 3-6, 10-6 on Monday night.
