Guwahati: Visiting Australia on Sunday clinched the seven match one day international cricket series 4-2 with one match to play as they outplayed India here to register a comfortable six wicket win.
Set to score 171 the Australian batsmen were never in trouble. Earlier in the day India were all out for 170. At one stage they were at a pathetic 25-5 with the cream of the top order back in pavilion. Some late order flourish led by R. Jadeja and Praveen Kumar, both scoring half centuries, got them to that total. For Australia Bollinger was the most successful bowler. He took 5 for 35 in his ten overs.
For Australia Shane Watson was the top scorer with 49.
