16th Asian Games (XVI ASIAD) - - Pakistan the Asian Champion Won the Third Gold for Pakistan in Men's Hockey

Congratulations! to all lovers of Hockey.Good news for Pakistani people after a long time. Pakistan won Asian Hockey Final after 20 years and any other major title after 16 years. Pakistan won Hockey world cup in 1994. With this victory Pakistan automatically qualified for the 2012 Olympics in London.

Salman Akbar proved to be the China Wall for the Malaysian Team; who couldn't be beaten even once in the 70 minutes game.

After 20 years Pakistan became Asian Champion beating Malayasia in final with 2-0. Goals scored by Rehan Butt and Sohail Abbas. The credit goes to Mr. Salman Akbar; who played a key role in this victory like in the Semifinals against South Korea. He saved all the attempts on the goal post by the Malasian players. 

With this victory Pakistan won third Gold of the 16th Asian Games, Guagzhuo 2010.
