Management of Pakistan Cricket team has confirmed that wicketkeeper Zulqarnain Haider vanished with his passport just before today's decider against South Africa in Dubai.
Reports this morning revealed that Zulqarnain Haider had received a threatening message after Pakistan won the fourth ODI against South Africa. Zulqarnain Haider hit the winning shot on that occasion and helped Pakistan to equalize the series with 2-2.
Intikhab Alam, PakistanTeam Manager for the ongoing tour, confirmed the disappearance of wicket-keeper without going in to the details of behind the incident. "Zulqarnain Haider did not come with the team to the ground and we are looking for him," said Intikhab Alam

It is normal practice for he could have needed it for any number of things.”

Captain Shahid Afridi said at ahead of today's toss: "He's resting, we're still trying to find him. Security is trying to trace him."
Zulqarnain Haider made 19 not out to win the fourth match for his side – with one ball to spare – and level the series at 2-2. He was then fined 12,000 rupees (£87), along with Shahzaib Hasan and Abdur Rehman, for breaking a team curfew.
Security has been provided for his family in Lahore, with senior superintendent of police Rana Faisal confirming: "We have deployed a dozen police officials at Zulqarnain Haider's residence, so that they can be guarded properly if there is any threat."
