Spot-fixing Drama Continues - - PCB Suspends Central Contracts of Aamer, Asif and Salman Butt



Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suspended central contracts of three players – Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Aamer – who have been suspended by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for spot-fixing allegations.

Director International PCB Zakir Khan told Geo News that the central contracts of these tree cricketers have been suspended from November 1.

Legal advisor Tafazzul Rizvi said that the PCB was paying them salaries for their services but they are not rendering any service now a days and thus their central contracts have been suspended to achieve legal requirements.

Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif were included in central contract A category and each of them was receiving Rs250,000 per month while Mohammad Aamer was in B category and was getting 175,000 per month.
