Australia celebrates their just unforgettable success in the first ODI against England. The match turns out to be a one-man-show as Shane Watson scored 161 off 150 balls. Earlier in the English innings he couldn't do better with the ball but he batting performance was one of the best ODI innings of any batsman in the world.
Actually there's no exaggeration if one would say "Shane Watson beats England". The chase turn out to be the biggest chase at MCG in the 40-years history of One Day Internationals. This victory will not only boost the lost confidence of Aussies after Ashes humiliation; but it will prove a catalyst for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup scheduled to be started on February 19, 2011.
The victory provided Kangroo's 1-0 lead in the ongoing series and will help to wipe off the thoughts that Australian cricket has gone down dramatically.
