IPOH, Malaysia (May 15) - - Pakistan beat Malaysia to reach Final by 3-2 after a close clash in Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey tournament. With This grand success against Malaysia, Pakistan is all set to meet Australia in Grand Final in Sultan Azlan Shah stadium. This was 2nd consecutive victory in last 6 months against Malaysia, Pakistan defeated Malaysia last November in Asian Games.

Australia came into the final by beating Great Britain by 2-1 in penultimate round-robin league match. That was also a close match. Getting 13 points in 4 matches, Australia qualified for the Final.
Pakistan has reached final of Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament after 2004. But Pakistan has previously won the Title three times. Pakistan Hockey seems to be on Victory track because of their new foreign coach Micheal Dean and they are ready for big challenge ahead in form of 2012 London Olympics.
