England will resume their first innings on 84/0, with Andrew Strauss in killing form batting on 52 and Alastair Cook batting on 27, on day two of the third test of 4-test nPower series. Earlier on the first day; England won the toss first time in the series and decided to invite visitors to bat on which proved to be a more than good decision as India lost their top and middle order for just Nelson (111) on the board. MS Dhoni (77) and Praveen Kumar (26) shared a good stand before England wrapped up the tail after tea.
India only managed 24 runs after tea with England returning to the discipline they had shown in the morning session to dismiss Dhoni and Ishant Sharma in quick succession with a total of 224 on the scoreboard.
