Wesley Sneijder Desperate to Join Manchester United |
In the latest move Wesley Sneijder is reportedly ready to cut in his wage demand for a potential and most discussed switchover from Inter Milan to Manchester United.
After a long negotiations all this summer Manchester United, earlier this week, dropped the idea to engage Dutch international Wesley Sneijder
in replacement for the retired Paul Scholes.
It was reported earlier that Sir Alex Ferguson and David Gill, CEO of the club, withdraws from 27-year old due to high wage demand of £200,000-a-week along with reported £35million asking price. In a statement came thereafter Sir Alex Ferguson showed his confidence with the current bunch of players. "I’m happy with the young players I’ve got", he said.
However, with Sneijder desperately looking for a way out of Italy, as he is unconvinced Inter Milan can challenge for honours this season, the former Real Madrid and Ajax star is ready to lower his financial demands. Whether that would be enough to tempt Ferguson and United to renew their interest in the Dutchman remains a mystery for the time being.
