CHESTER – Gary Speed, Wales manager, found dead at his home in Chester today (Sunday, Nov. 27) morning. According to police sources; he was hanged himself to death. He was 42.

The former midfielder won 85 international caps and had been national team boss for 10 games. Speed has played for Everton, Newcastle, Bolton and Sheffield United before being appointed manager of Wales in December 2010 after retiring as a player in May last year.
The Football Association of Wales confirmed the news after being authorized by Speed’s family to release the news.
A police spokesperson told that police was informed about the sudden death at an address in Huntington at 7.08 am on Sunday 27 November 2011. When police reached at the address the 42-year-old was found dead. The next of kin have been informed and have confirmed the identity of the man as Gary Speed.
Tributes are continuously pouring in for Gary Speed from the greats of footballs all around the globe.
The Manchester United striker Michael Owen, who lives near the star, tweeted: "Just cannot believe the news regarding Gary Speed. We waved at each other a couple of days ago dropping our kids off at school. I'm numb."
The Football Association of Wales (FAW) chief executive Jonathan Ford said: "I, and all of the football family of Wales, am devastated by the news of Gary's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family at this difficult time."

According to news, he committed suicide ... the motive and reason behind is still a mystery..??
