AUCKLAND, New Zealand – The 33rd edition of coveted Men’s Hockey Champions Trophy is set to be kicked off from tomorrow (Saturday, Dec. 03) in Auckland, New Zealand. The final will be played on December 11.

Total eight teams are going to compete for the title, including wild card entrants Pakistan and defending champions Australia. Other teams are Spain, Great Britain, Netherlands, South Korea, Germany and the hosts New Zealand.
Teams are divided into two Pools and Pakistan is placed in Pool A along with favorites Australia, Spain and Great Britain. Two rounds of ‘robin round’ will be played before the finals on December 11. Total four matches will be played tomorrow and Pakistan will face Great Britain in their opening clash.
Saturday’s (tomorrow) matches’ schedule is given below:

Netherlands v S Korea (Group B) on 12:05 (Local Time) at Auckland.
• Match No. 2
Germany v New Zealand (Group B) on 14:05 (Local Time) at Auckland.
• Match No. 3
Australia v Spain (Group A) on 16:05 (Local Time) at Auckland.
• Match No. 4
Great Britain v Pakistan (Group A) on 18:05 (Local Time) at Auckland.
