Highlights of IPL3 Auction - - Shahid Afridi, With Base Price of USD 200,000, Couldn't Be Sold Out in Round 1 of The Auction

The final fixtures and schedules of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2010 have been announced. The third season of IPL will start on March 12 and end on April 25, 2009. And, once again purse strings are loosened and the rich and the beautiful go shopping for cricketers.

Here is the latest action in the IPL 3 player auction:

* Pakistani player Shahid Afridi was not sold in Round 1. His base price stands at USD 2,00,000.
* West Indies' Kieron Pollard 4 way tie goes to Mumbai Indians for USD 7,50,000.
* South Africa’s Wayne Parnell was sold to Delhi Daredevils for USD 6,10,000.
* West Indies right-arm fast bowler Kemar Roach sold to Deccan Chargers for USD 7,50,000.
