Pakistan v New Zealand (4th ODI Updates): After 42 Overs New Zealand Struggling on 195/6

 Napier, New Zealand – In the 4th ODI Pakistan bowlers took a bit time to claim the first wicket of Martin Guptill on 40; but after that they dominated the Kiwi’s batting line-up. Jamie How and Ross Taylor lost their wickets on 44 after scoring 13 and 4 runs respectively.

Scott Styris and Kane Williamson couldn’t have long lasting effect on the pitch and departed after scoring 11 and 15 runs. After losing five wickets for just 79 runs James Franklin and Brendon McCullum exhibited a relatively steady batting skill and added 63 runs to New Zealand total before the fall of McCullum (37) to Wahab Riaz on 141/6.

In the process James Franklin got his half century in the company of Nathan McCullum. After 42 overs New Zealand are 195/6; while Nathan McCullum and James Franklin trying to rescue Black Caps batting on 11 and 60 respectively.

Wahab Riaz and Abdul Razzaq bowled superbly in terms of wickets and economy. Riaz claimed three wickets and Razzaq bowled his seven overs with just 2.3 runs per over and took wicket of Jamie How. Muhammad Hafeez also had good bowling spell claiming one wicket in his seven overs costing 25 runs.
