LAHORE - President Quami Tajir Ittehad Lahore Khawaja Azhar Gulshan has announced that trader community will arrange a warm welcome reception on the arrival of national hero Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza after marriage.
He announced this in an advisory meeting of Quami Tajir Ittehad held here on Friday. He said Shoaib Malik is our hero and the Indian government as well as media should quit biased attitude against him and return his passport and other travelling documents.
He also demanded of the Indian government to ensure foolproof security for Shoaib and Sania as fundamentalist Hindus are a constant threat to their lives.
Addressing the meeting Mian Akbar Rasheed, Chairman Quami Tajir Ittehad Punjab said that government is imposing value added tax on the instructions of IMF, which is disregard of the people of Pakistan. He warned the government that trader community would protest and give tough time to such assembly, which would approve and impose such value added tax.
