Latest Medal Tally in 16th Asian Games (XVI ASIAD) on 18:00 PST - - China on The Top With 22 Gold, While Lee Wai Sze of Hong Kong, China Set a New Asian Record


Yang Chao and Tan Yiling of China won the latest gold medal in Standard-Quickstep at the Guangzhou Asian Games on the first day of the 16th Asian Games; taking China's tally of Gold medals to 18. China still leading the medal table with a huge margin of 14 gold medals against its closest rival Japan. 

On the first day of 16th Asian Games a new Asian record was set by Lee Wai Sze of Hong Kong, China, who bagged the first and the only Gold Medal in Women's 500m Time Trial Cycling Track. Lee Wai Sze's gold medal on the day one earn 4th position on the medal table for her country.  

South Korea also couldn't improve its position on the medal table like India and sustaining third and fifth position with the same number of Gold Medals as reported earlier.

While, Lee Wai Sze of Hong Kong, China won the first gold medal in Women's 500m Time Trial Cycling Track at the 16th Asian Games in Guangzhou on November 13 and set a new Asian Record.
