Pakistan cricket shocked again with yet another controversy created by the release of the video in which bookie Mazhar Majeed named four more players in the spot-fixing saga. In this video few Indian bookies are also hinted out to the part of drama.

Pakistan news channel, Geo news, also released a new tape which shows bookie Mazhar majeed mention an Indian link to the scam. Majeed hinted that some Indian bookies or agents may be involved in transferring goods to the tainted players.
ICC has expressed apprehension with the release of the new video by GEO TV which exposes several other players including Akmal brothers, Wahab Riaz, Imran Farhat. Players involved in the fixing scam face corruption charges if anything is proved. Under article 2 of the ICC Anti corruption code, the player could not only be banned from cricket but could also be fined.
Meanwhile, in some more trouble for tainted Pakistan players. Scotland Yard may prosecute the tainted trio from Pakistan Cricket. Britain's Attorney General has admitted that under a 104 year old corruption law the three players, Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir can still be prosecuted.
Sources within the Scotland Yard admitted that the case against the three players for defrauding bookmakers was weak however they said that the investigators might be able to pursue a case of accepting or obtaining corrupt payments contrary to their employers affairs or considerations under the 1906 Corruption Act and carries a maximum penalty of seven years behind bars.
