During a turn in the commentary box alongside Michael Atherton and Nasser Hussain, as England set about building their mammoth second innings, Gower was mid-sentence when out of the blue he cried out in pain like he'd just sat on a pin.
And the cause for Gower's discomfort? It was none other than Nasser, who managed to dump a chair leg on his co-commentator's left foot.
Amid fits of laughter between Atherton and Hussain, Gower can be heard to say: "Excuse me there, that was someone putting a chair on my foot. I'll give you a clue - that was Nasser Hussain," before hobbling out of the studio.
