Vodafone Ashes Series 2010-11 - - 2nd Test (Day 3) Live Streaming: Highlights of Second Day, Alastair Cook Continued His Best Batting Form

Australia had early joy on the second day of second test with the wicket of skipper Andrew Strauss in the day's opening over, but apart from Jonathan Trott's removal for 78 before tea it was undeniably England's day. Doug Bollinger removed Strauss with the third ball of the day as the England skipper curiously offered no shot and was bowled for one.

Alastair Cook continued his form of unbeaten 235 in Brisbane to end the day on 136 with Kevin Pietersen, not out on 85. The pair has already put on 141 runs together for the third wicket.

English Vice-captain Alastair Cook, showing massive powers of concentration, has scored 438 runs in three innings in ongoing Ashes series for one.

During the whole of his innings only once Alastair Cook looked in trouble when he needed a review on 64 to survive after he was given out caught behind attempting to hook Peter Siddle in the 43rd over. Umpire Marais Erasmus had to reverse the decision after the replays showed that the ball hit Cook's arm rather than his bat.

England sailed past Australia's meagre first innings total of 245 almost 23 overs before stumps at second day of the second test and finished the scorching day 2 at 317 for two, with a lead of 72; threatening to set a challenging score on third day.

Third day of the second Ashes test will surely be very important for Australia and England. To see live action, follow the links:
