Lahore, Pakistan - The suspended fast bowler, Muhammad Aamir, who was reported to be bowling in a match for world cup training seeks forgiveness from the International Cricket Council (ICC) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for ‘mistakenly’ violating the ICC code of conduct.
Muhammad Aamir accepted his wrongdoing but confirmed that he didn’t know that he was breaching any code of conduct of ICC; while he bowled a single over in Pindi Stadium during a match between Army and Rawalpindi.
After the reports, ICC asked PCB on Monday to probe into the matter and report accordingly. According to Nadeem Sarwar, a PCB official, Board has stated an inquiry about the incident.
