ICC World Cup - - Bangladesh Scrambled on 58 Against West Indies

DHAKA – West Indies wrapped Bangladeshi innings on paltry 58 bowling them out cheaply in just 18.5 overs here at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka today.

Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat first in a crucial match of Group ‘B’. The result of the match is certainly going to affect the teams forwarding to the next knock out round.

The disaster started in the very first over of Darren Sammy in which he took the most important wicket of inform Tamim Iqbal on the third ball. Other than two fast bowlers Sulieman Benn also bowled impressive spell and picked up four wickets; while Darren Sammy and Kemar Roach claimed three wickets each.

Only two Banglsdeshi batsmen succeeded to touch the double figure. Junaid Siddique scored 25 runs while Mohammad Ashraful fails at 11. Last five Bangladeshi wickets fell for just adding 8 runs.
