West Indies Climbed up to second position in Group 'B' with win Against Bangladesh

DHAKA – West Indies sailed through an easy victory over Bangladesh by a huge margin of nine wickets. It took less than 13 overs to reach the target of 59 losing just Devon Smith. Chris Gayle scored 37 off 36 balls.

Kemar Roach emerged as man of the match for his deadly opening spell that left Bangladeshi batsmen searching for their confidence and form.    

Earlier, West Indies wrapped Bangladeshi innings on paltry 58 bowling them out cheaply in just 18.5 overs here at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka today.

Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat first in a crucial match of Group ‘B’. The result of the match is certainly going to affect the teams forwarding to the next knock out round.
