Pakistan v India: One-to-one Again But on Different Ground - - Schedule of Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament

FAISALABAD - - ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 will end up within sometime finalizing the next world champion either Sri Lanka or India; but the rivalry of India and Pakistan is set to find new grounds in the new sports arena.

Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament scheduled to kick-off next month of May 5, 2011 which will be concluded on March 15, 2011. Total of 22 matches are scheduled to be played among seven participant teams, including, Pakistan, India, Malaysia, England, New Zealand, Australia, South Korea.

Tournament opener will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand on May 5 with two more matches scheduled on the same day. Pakistan will take on arch-rivals India in the 15th match of the tournament on May 11.

Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has already announced initial 31-member squad for the tournament including following players:

Zeeshan Ashraf, Mazhar Abbas, Kashif Javaid, Muhammad Rizwan, Muhammad Tousiq, Akhtar Ali, Muhammad Ateeq, Arsalan Qadir and Ali Shan, Shakeel Abbasi, Syed Kashif Shah, Sohail Abbas, Waseem Ahmed, Rehan Butt, Waqas Sharif, Muhammad Irfan, Tasawwar Abbas, Muhammad Imran, Imran Shah, Fareed Ahmed, Muhammad Umar Bhutta, Khalid Bhatti, Muhammad Imran, Muhammad Rizwan, Muhammad Raashid, Imran Butt, Muhammad Irfan, Shafqat Rasool, Muhammad Zubair, Waqas Akbar and Abdul Haseem Khan
