Manchester United's Mexican Striker Javier Hernandez Got Injured During Pre-season Pratice Session

LONDON - - Manchester United is on a pre-season tour of U.S. where the club’s Mexican striker Javier Hernandez suffered from a concussion and had to spent Tuesday night in hospital.

According to club’s official statement on Wednesday; Hernandez, 23, got injured during aa pratice session at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey ahead of United's friendly with the MLS All-stars.

Hernandez, having 29 international appearances on his credit, also nicknamed as Chicharito (which means ‘little pea’ in Mexican language).

A United spokesperson said on the club website, “Chicharito sustained a mild concussion during training last night”.

"We have taken all the necessary precautions, which included an overnight stay in hospital. The manager will give further updates in due course."

Hernandez has scored 13 Premier League goals in his debut campaign after signing from Mexican side Chivas de Guadalajara for just seven million pounds ($11.4 million).
