Stiff Test for Wenger in Champions League Play-off Against Udinese as Nasri's Transfer Deal Finalized

Samir Nasri’s transfer from Arsenal to Manchester City again hit the web as the London Club confirmed on their official website that a deal has been struck between them and their Premier League rivals for the Frenchman.

Samir Nasri Not to Accompany the Gunners for Italy Assignment on Wednesday
Samir Nasri’s transfer is now only conditioned to the successful medical examination and following of formal registration process; sources of Arsenal stated.

Samir Nasri took part in the training session with Arsenal squad on Tuesday; but reportedly will not accompany the Gunners to Italy for important second leg of their Champions League play-off against Udinese, scheduled on Wednesday night. Currently, the Gunners are leading the tie 1-0.

Wenger will have a stiff test there in Italy as he will also miss the services of English midfielder Jack Wilshere due to sustaining ankle injury. However, the Gunners midfield options will be wide open as far as Alex Song and Emmanuel Frimpong are concerned because their respective domestic suspensions will not apply against Udinese in Italy.
