As Pakistan hoping to win with a big margin to revitalize the slim hopes for semi-finals. In the 23rd minute of the match Pakistan got a penalty corner and a beautiful flick by Sohail Abbas couldn't be stopped by goal keeper and Pakistan doubled the lead. But suddenly South Africans decided to go for team referral; as they thought that ball was stopped inside the circle instead of outside the circle. The review showed that they were quite right and so the second goal was disallowed by the review umpire.
