IPL-3: Deccan Chargers Vs. Kolkata Knight Riders - - Half Centuries From Shah And Mathews Saved KKR From Complete Sink; KKR Sets Target of 161

Mumbai: KKR vs DC: Kolkata Knight Riders have set a target of 161 for Deccan Chargers in the first game of Indian Premiere League season 3.

Earlier, the Deccan Chargers won the toss and elected to field first at the sticky wicket of DYP Stadium Mumbai.

At one time, the Knight Riders were struggling at 57/4 after 10 overs but swash-bucking half centuries from Shah and Matthews has set up the match perfectly for an exciting run chase.

At the end of the 19 overs the Knight Riders were 151/4. But when they finished their batting it was 161 for 4.

From the Knight Riders team, Manoj Tiwari and Captain Saurav Ganguly couldn’t make any run. At the same time, Brad Hodge made 13 runs.

Angelo Mathews managed to hit 65 runs in 46 balls.
