Sri Lanka v West Indies (2nd ODI) Updates: West Indies Crumbles to Set a Target of 204

COLOMBO, Sri Lnaka – In the second ODI West Indies all out for just 203 in 50 overs, setting a target of 204 for the hosts with an average of mere 4.10 per over.

Double blow of Adrian Barath and Skipper Chris Gayle on 45 runs never let tourists to face Sri Lankan bowlers confidently. West Indies batting crumbled in their innings when they were forced to bat after Sri Lanka won the toss. Windies batsmen just managed to produce average batting performance and getting out with the regular interval of time.

Sri Lankan bowlers never lost their grip on the match and never let visitors’ batting to settle down. In the leadership of Lasith Malinga every bowler played his respective role. Malingla picked up three wickets; Nuwan Kulasekara and Muttiah Muralitharan claimed two wickets each; while Rangana Herath shared a piece.

From West Indies twin Bravo’s were the highest scores with their 39 each. Chris Gayle and Carlton Baugh score 28 each. Last four wickets just added 28 runs.
