In reply to hosts 246/7 in allotted quota of overs; Zimbabwean openers gave a confident start to their team; but Abdur razzak, most successful spinner for Bangladesh, shines again with the ball in his hand. Zimbabwe is currently on 94/6 after 32 overs. Prosper Utseya and Graeme Cremer are on the crease with scores of 24 and 23 respectively. No other batsmen can touch the double figure except opener Brendan Taylor in the miserable innings of the visitors. 

Abdur Razzak continued his form with the ball claiming four early wickets juts for 7 runs off eight overs leaving visitors with almost no hope to take a lead in the five-match series. Zimbawean batsmen never look confident playing Abdur Razzak. Four wickets including top three batsmen Brendan Taylor,Chamu Chibhaba, and Hamilton Masakadza hurt Zimbabwe run chase very badly. He also claime wicket of Regis Chakabva.


Earlier Bangldesh fought back on the shoulders of their captain Shakib Al Hasan to recover the early loss of 4 wickets for just71 runs. Fifth wicket partnership of 106 between Skipper Shakib and Mushfiqur Rahim helped Bangladesh to set a respectable total of 246.

Prosper Utseya claimed four wickets for Zimbabwe giving away just 38 runs. Zimbabwe still needs 223 runs in 42 overs.

Bangladesh and Zimbabwe are 1-1 in the series and today both the teams will try to take lead.
