| Shahid Afridi's Meeting with Ijaz Butt is a Step to Right Direction |
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (June 14) - A positive advancement is reported by Dawn News in the ongoing dispute of PCB and Shahid Afridi.
According to reports; former ODI captain Shahid Afridi met Chairman PCB Ijaz Butt in the presence of few government officials in Islamabad.
According to a well-placed source within the Board, the meeting was objected to find out a quick solution to the present crisis that is surrounding Pakistan cricket. An out-of-court solution was also discussed, the source further added.
The meeting is a good sign in the scenario in which the lawyers of Afridi and the PCB are preparing for a Sindh High Court hearing on 16th June.
Both parties are being pressurized by different parts of the society, including politicians, to solve the issue out of the court as soon as possible.
